It’s All In The Book- Elijah, The Ravens, The Widow and a Boy

Welcome to episode 5 of The Reborn Again Christian Podcast.  It has been weighing on my heart and shoulders to get this podcast going again.  Starting in late January of 2024, God woke me at 3 in the morning and told me to meet Him in the quiet space and talk to Him. It became ongoing reminders.  "Meet Me early every morning in the quiet space." Early-like before the sun came up.   What I didn't know was that a storm was coming my way, and God was fortifying me for the storm.   The eye of the storm has passed, and I have been in a state of prayer and coping, and questioning my place as a child of God. On this podcast, I have the honor and task of sharing the Goodness of God, and how the Good Lord sends us assurances and reminders when we open the Bible. The passage I am reading from is in 1 Kings Chapter 17. At this point in time, I cannot share the details of the storm with podcast listeners.  If there comes a time when my trauma can be my testimony, I will.  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy listening to this episode of the Reborn Again Christian Podcast.

The Reborn Again Christian Podcast- “Christ Ties in Entertainment” with guest Brandon Lee Keropian. Part 1

The timing of this podcast release reminds me of how God’s timing is always- well, timely.  Brandon and I recorded this over two years ago, in the middle of the pandemic.  Shortly after taping, I felt the wave and pressure of the pandemic, the not working, the multiple covid tests if so did get a job on set, wash over me and stay like a tidal wave.  Since that time, I have felt the Holy Sprit give me reminders that this podcast is part of my mission as a Christian. When I prayed to God over a relationship and how to proceed, God told me “You know what you are supposed to be doing.” When I have prayed to God to open doors for me, and to lead me to the doors He wants me to present myself to, I have heard him say Yes, he will lead me, and also, what about that podcast that has a platform to specially build His Kingdom?

 

So after all this time (two years) telling God, “Yes my Lord, I will release it. When I have the mindset… when my home is clean…”

 

I don’t have the mindset, my home isn’t all the way clean, but the Spirit has said, “Do this today.”

 

So today, as I am listening back to this podcast and editing, I am seeing the parallels of Brandon’s story to today.  How he moved to San Antonio over ten years ago, then stayed there because of- The Writer’s Strike.  Yesterday my pastor prayed for relief over our most recent Writer’s strike, which thankfully ended within 24 hours of that prayer.

 

God’s time.

Ep. 4- "I Was Practically Banged On The Head By The Holy Spirit One Day..." with Guest Keri Sporing

On this week's episode of The Reborn Again Christian Podcast, we are joined by guest Keri Sporing of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Keri is the mother of one of my dearest friends Will Ard.  Will and I did comedy together, and we talk about Will and his part in reminding me of my Christianity, as well as reminding Keri of hers.  We talk about an assignment the Holy Spirit gave her, how she ran from it for two years, and how God moves in such strong and undeniable ways. When Keri listened, God gave her and her family one of the most beautiful blessings one can ask for.  This episode is powerful, and filled with love. I thank Keri for sharing her story of faith with me, and with you. 

 

We dedicate this episode to the memory of her Keri's Son and my friend, Will Ard.

Episode 3- "I Can Do All Things Through God." with comedian Kennelia Stradwick

On Episode 3 I have the fantastic experience of talking to my friend and fellow comedian Kennelia Stradwick. I saw her outside of church one day, and I was relieved and happy to see another comedian who shared faith. I am even happier that I was able to learn more about Kennelia on a spiritual level, as she tells us about her faith journey, that went from Michigan to New York to Los Angeles.
